I am looking for a well made jewelry box for my 6 mo. old grandaughter
that is starting to get jewelry. I'd rather have wood and a little
plush inside. Closest thing I've found was at Hallmark, but it was
so hard inside. I'd love the option of having her name printed on
it also. I'd like for it to take her into her teenage years so just
slightly juvenile. A ballerina and music would be a plus.

I was at Target last night and saw some table top jewelry boxes that have the doors and drawers near the jewelry/purses. I did not see the price but they had them in stained wood and also white. I have a large floor jewelry box my grandmother bought me when I was about 15 and will have it forever so if you want to go that route and give her something she will always have you will have to pay a bit more. I think you can get the kind like mine at stores like JCPenney or Macy's for around $100.
This is the jewelry box I bought for both my daughters. It is from Pottery Barn Kids. It is a little pricey, but it is very well made. They have a few others to choose from too.
