We have the MN arboretum out here and you can make a donation, or buy a brick or if you want to spend more 'give' a tree that they hang a little plaque on... it's really nice b/c you can go 'visit' the area of your gift. Maybe you have something like that near you??
I am so sorry, I think it is wonderful to have a little remembrance.
I know she makes beautiful mini sculptures for lost babies and grieving families. I bought one for my mom when my dad died, and she highly treasures it.

Most of her baby angel series are in her sold items and she will take custom requests on those:

How about a special ornament for the tree?
S.,
I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I completely understand your loss and how you want to memorialize him. There are several things you can do in his honor:
Plant a tree--new life and it will grow for years and years- you can visit whenever you need to.
Do an actual ceremony in a beautiful place-beach, forrest etc. and talk about your son, his life, what he means to you and let something go--balloons in the air etc.
A special journal for dad to tell him about his baby and what he means to you as a daddy.

ABC Distributing has an online cataloge. They have lots of ornaments, solar lit garden angels and what not. It may be too late to ship for Christmas, but it's worth a try.
