I just went through this with my little girl. At six months she was drinking four 6 ounce bottles of formuala a day plus baby food. I have a few friends who did four 8 ounce bottles a day, but my little girl was satisfied with the 6 ounce bottles. Hope this helps.

Ashley,
Seems to me when my kids were on formula they drank about a can a day. I can't remember how much a can made when mixed with water but each baby drank that much in a 24 hr time period. If you are just unsure, call your pediatrician's office and ask to speak to the nurse.
have you started feeding her baby food yet? If not, try it and see if she will eat it. Good luck with it.

If I remember correctly, it seems like mine had 6-8 oz. every 3 hours. They also had a jar of fruit baby food in the morning, and a jar of veggies in the afternoon and another jar in the evening.

Generally, 40 oz a day.

I recommend subscribing to Parents or American Baby magazine. They both have lots of helpful articles on subjects like this.
