We bought flip flop glue. It's called "Flip Flop Glue." The embellishments fell off eventually, but they stuck pretty good for a while.
I bought some flip-flops for my daughter at JoAnn's. I also bought some little embellishments to put on them. I used hot glue and they all fell off. I then used some super glue and they all fell off except one.
So my question is...what the heck kind of glue are you supposed to use to get the embellishments to stick!?
Thank you!
Thank you for the help. Since flip flop season will be ending all too soon I'll keep the info on hand for next year. Thank you so much!

rubber glue. I can't remember what its called but its used for rubber. good luck!
i wrap the straps with thin ribbon and then apply the embellishments with Flip-Flop glue (which also works applied to the bare straps. I just did a couple of pairs for 2 of my granddaughters who are getting ready to vacation in Hawaii.
My mom used epoxy for my daughters last year on some flip flops and it didn't work either, they all just fell off in time. Maybe the felt suggestion would work.
I would use an epoxy, such as E6000. The only thing is, it has to sit for 24 hours before it is totally dry. One thing that helps if you still want to use hot glue, is if you glue a piece of felt down first, then glue the embellishment on top of the felt, and it will work. Also, if you are using lo-temp glue gun/sticks, it won't last as long. (I'm a 'professional' crafter, and the felt trick always works).
