Hey Ladies! My beloved flat iron of 6 years has finally passed on. I have REALLY thick, wavy hair, so I used it DAILY. The brand is True Ceramic Pro, my hubby bought it for me off of an informmercial when we were newlyweds, haha! I'm just wondering what other brands are out there and what you recommend? I don't mind paying good money because I need a GOOD flat iron. Thank you!

chi..........i love it, my husband also bought mine for me because he was eavesdropping on my conversation with my hairdresser. It was for xmas. I love it, i use it every day and have for like 7 years.
I have a BabyBliss that my MIL got me from her stylist. I don't know what the model number is but it is a wet/dry iron. I know it wasn't cheap but MIL won't tell me how much it is cause she knows I will try and give her money for it:) I had the True Ceramic Pro also and it was great but after about 5 years it died too.
I had a CHI for years and it is the only one that really worked on my naturally curly hair. It too passed on and I haven't had the $200 to buy a new one (my hubby surprised me with the first one) but it is ceramic and gets really hot. I dont ever want to use another brand. Good Luck
Defff get a chi..my hair is very thick and wavy and I've gone through so many straightners because they couldn't do the job for my hair. The chi makes my hair perfectly straight.
Love the Chi too. I bought mine from ulta and with coupons and sales you can get one that is 160.00 for about 80.00.
I love my CHI, it works great!
