Ok. I have a question,i have a facebook account. I was on it earlier this afternoon and a few hours later I try to log back into with my same password and wouldn't go threw. I check the caps and was the same and still wouldn't log in. I had to make a new one and for it to sent threw my e-mail,and check my e-mail and confirm and so on. I deleted my new password that was sent threw my e-mail and change my e-mail password also. I'm kinda afraid someone might trying to hack into my personal stuff or maybe facebook was being a litttle annoying. Has anyone have this same problem? Or how can you tell exactly if someone been threw your facebook? Nothing looks different and maybe I'm freaking out on nothing. I have my facebook now set for only my computer and anyone else that trys to log in would notify me. UGH! THANKS

What can I do next?

While on FB, look at your URL address (the very top box on your screen.) If you see "http:" instead of "https:" then you DO NOT have a secure session & can be HACKED. Go to Account - Account Settings - Account Security - click Change. Check box (secure browsing), click Save. FB has automatically set it on the non-secure setting!

If someone hacked your Facebook account and went through it - you would've have received notification from facebook that your password has been changed.

You can tell if someone went through you account if your settings have been changed, friends are missing, etc. If you did not get a notification from Facebook, I'm sure you are fine.

You can ensure that your password is HARD - a mixture of numbers and letters - so something like 3LilOnes$ - will be considered a hard password because of the mix of number, letters, capital letters and the $....

DO NOT click on things like "see who is checking you out on facebook" - that's a scam.

DO NOT click on chats that say "what the heck were you doing in THIS video"....

That's good that you added the device log in...so now if anyone tries to log in, you will get an e-mail that states device facebook - or what ever you named your computer attempted to log in today at X time - if this is not you, please log into your account...

GOOD LUCK!

Facebook has a lot of glitches. I have experienced several hiccups using their website. I bet it was their website. Since you have a new password, you should be fine. Go to your 'privacy' settings and make sure that your profile is 'not' public and that only friends can read and post on your wall.

If you never received a notice of a changed password then no one changed your password, regardless of where it was done. If someone tries to hack your account your account will be locked and an email would be sent to reset the password. I had someone try to hack mine, they were unsuccessful.

do you have wi-fi??? if so is it set up with a password so no one can access your internet access? if not, then you can be hacked easily. plus, there is a web site out there with the most commonly used passwords and sometimes people are just a-holes and hack your account. it happened to us once. or, if you clicked on a video or weird post someone else posted it puts a virus on your computer and that can mess it up too.
