In my world it means estimated time of arrival and so it will always be. :)
Don't get me started with DH! :p
I saw someone respond to a question with TIA at the end with Dear Tia. I almost spit tea on my computer.
This is going to be a stupid question but when people add ETA to their post what does the ETA stand for? Edited to Advice?
Just curious in our over abbreviated world!!! Thanks!
Thanks Mamas! I'm with you Jo W! I don't do all those DH, DS, etc. If I did then I have to call my ex my ADEH (A**hole deadbeat ex husband!) hahaha
EM.. I believe that DH is Darling Husband, same with DD is Darling Daughter, DS is Darling Son and so on.. I just say my son... :-)
Glad to know exactly what this means! Thanks for the input!

I love Jo!!! I too go by Estimated Time of Arrival...but in this case it means
Edit to Advice or Edited to Add...
It's like all the other acronyms we have here!!
When i do it here it means "Edited to add" ill never get on board with the dh, ds, dd stuff
I never heard of Edited To Add before.
I always heard "What's your ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)?".
LOL I just asked this question a few weeks ago! I can usually figure out the abbreviations but that one had my stomped!
Anybody know what KWIM stands for?
I didn't know either! Thanks Angela.
Also what does DH stand for?
I'm a senior Grandma, but ETA has been used for many, many years, primarily by the trucking industry, on paperwork, to mean Estimated Time of Arrival, for shipping information. It probably means something else in the texting world.
