We switched to Born Free bottles. They also have a vent system to reduce gas/spit up. Also, they are BPA FREE. Dr. Brown's are not.
Ok, this is a silly question, but here it is. I have recently started using the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow bottles with the tube inside it to keep the air pushed to the back of the bottle. My only complaint is when I shake up the formula in the bottle, even with the cap on the formula goes flying everywhere! For those of you that use that bottle, how do you shake up the formula? And if you do in that bottle, does it leak out while your'e shaking it?

I had the same problem with breastmilk. I used the lid that screws on (just the plain lid, not the nipple cap) and would shake it with that on, then I'd put the tube & nipple on afterwards. It's a pain!
We switched to the Born Free bottles and didn't have a problem. You can get glass or plastic (BPA free), we had the glass and loved them!
Hi S. -
I used the Dr. Brown's Bottles also and the same thing happend. But I also realized when I stired the formula in the bottle it created less bubbles and less crabby baby! So instead of shaking it (which causes air bubbles) stir it and it will be less of a mess!
Good Luck!
I used the Dr. Brown's bottles, too. My bottles came with little white travel discs that went between the nipple and the bottle. The discs did a pretty good job of preventing leaks, but you have to remember to remove it before you give it to the baby. If your bottles do not have these discs, you could try covering the nipple hole with a clean finger when you shake the bottle.
Hi S. I just used a butter knife to stir up the formula and water before putting the nipple and tube in there.
