Y.,
I think that's the worst part of being a working mom. Look at the good news: you'll be home all summer with your son. I was in a very similar situation, although I took 16 wks of FMLA leave after having my son, it was VERY hard to go to work even though my parents were watching my son and who better? I was lucky in that way.
After returning to work FT for approx 4-5 months I decided I had had enough and that I did not have a baby at age 39 to see him for about 1-1/2 hrs after I got home from work before he went to bed. I used to feel that I would come home, have time to feed, bathe and put my son to bed and that was it. I finally told my boss that FT work was not working for me and asked if I could work PT. Worked 3 days and home 4, that seemed like a better balance to me. Hang in there--you will find what works for you and don't feel guilty, no matter what you do--I'm sure you are making decisions for the best interest of your kids. You are not alone. And, don't worry--your baby knows who his mom is--a mother cannot be replaced! God bless. :)
