I'm thinking about buying a dyson vacuum, but don't know if they are worth the money. Does anyone have any information on these for me?

I bought a dyson when they first came out. I love it but it's not truly worth the money. When it's all said and done...it's still just a vaccuum cleaner. Don't get me wrong it works great and I love it, but I wish I had seen the one at Wal-Mart (or waited) for about $300 less than what I paid at Best Buy. If you are going to buy one shop around as they are not as expensive as they once were.

I own a dyson and love it, several of my friends have used mine and have since purchased their own. Well worth the investment.

in response to the dyson, my father bought one, and there is a guarentee that it will never clog, a couple of weeks later my grandfather bought one. i used it and loved it..thought it was better then a kirby. i plan on buying my self one in the next month. i would go through sears to buy though, only reason i suggest is i worked for Sears a few years back, and the proventive agreement * like a extended warranty* it is worth it, if you can't afford or rather wait on the extended warranty, last time i checked they offer it a year after appliance is bought but at a slightly higher cost

They're great. We love our ours. But the claim by Mr. Dyson on the TV commercials about them "never losing suction" isn't completely true... But we still like it. Ours is a few years old, so perhaps the newer ones really don't lose suction...

Bought one last year. Had it maybe six months. Doesn't work at all. Trust me, save your $ and buy a cheap one with lots of suction and a good hepa filter. Dyson, to me, is definitely a rip-off!

Many of my family members are in the professional cleaning business (residential and commercial). They say the Dyson is not worth it. A good Eureka or Hoover is great and they wouldn't spend the money. I have a Eureka I bought from Walmart for $100.00 and it works great. My son has a Dyson and it doesn't do any better, really.
