My mom always said if you don't believe in Santa, he doesn't come, so I still believe! Come on Santa, bring me something good! :P

Anyone else out there "believe"? And, what did you ask him to bring you this year?

So What Happened?

Im asking for bubble bath and bath salts and the game of thrones books, anything else will be a nice surprise

For some of you- HAHA I would hope that some of you know that I don't actually "believe" in Santa, its just suppose to be a fun question more like the spirit of Santa. Heck, if I'm actually looking for Santa I'll just look in the mirror while I wrap presents (not before taking the price tags off), in fact I never knew that Santa liked red-wine spritzers so much....

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night...ba-humbug!

EDIT* YAY! Im so glad that more people responded! I thought the adults here had all turned into "non-believers" :P. Thank you everyone who responded with cheery thoughts and wonderful insights! Merry Christmas!

I believe he represents the spirit of Christmas - peace, love, generosity and kindness. I told my daughter that the original Santa passed many years ago, but his spirit lives on if you believe in what he represented - shes five and believes in Santa and apparently loves that I told her the meaning of Christmas, including Santa. =)

No. I don't buy into that whole adults should still claim they believe in Santa. Unless of course you are just playing along for the sake of your children. I believe in the spirit of the holiday season but not in the fictional north pole dweller.

I am intimately aware of Santa. In fact, "he" bought me the kitchen-aid kitchen knife set that I wanted just last week. I am quite confident it will be wrapped and under the tree on Christmas morning.

My husband and I openly play "Santa" for each other. We told Kiddo that the other Santa is busy with the kids stuff and the grown-ups have to do for each other.

I'm hoping for a new book of crossword puzzles in my stocking. I dropped the hint pretty clearly and husband said he'd go to the bookstore. :). We do low-key stocking stuffers for the adults, and Santa does not get to give Kiddo the 'big' gift. We want credit for that!

Yes! He is not always the white guy with the bushy beard and a rotund belly. Last time I spotted him he was in disguise. He was dressed up as a jolly black woman in a long plum coat and a hat. She was in front of a red kettle ringing that bell in the rhythm of Christmas songs. The whole thing gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. (I saw a lot of smile on peoples faces that day too)

Now the Easter Bunny??? NO way. Everybody knows bunnies do not lay eggs.

No, nor the Easter Bunny, nor the tooth fairy, nor leprechauns, nor unicorns, nor dragons, nor any other magical/supernatural/holy creature.
But I find it amusing to make reference to him, as in when I post a picture of something I like on Facebok with the note, "Psst. Hey, Santa. I wouldn't mind finding this in my stocking."

I absolutely still believe in the magic of Santa!
I know it's my husband and I trying to sneak the gifts in for the kids that gets harder each year as they get older. I know it's us that stays up far too late and get woken up far to early the next morning to get everything looking just right.
But the magic of seeing my kids on Christmas morning. Knowing we were able to pull it all off and surprise them. The extras the kids do leading up to Christmas. They always want to donate to Toys 4 Tots and they each pick out a book for a kid on the tree at Barnes and Nobles. All of that and more, I do believe!
Santa doesn't bring gifts for adults on Christmas at our house, just the kids and none of the presents under the tree are from us, they are all from Santa that morning. We pick special things up as we go along for each other. Works a whole lot better that way for us.
My kids are 12 (nearing 13), 9 (will be 10 before Christmas) and 4.5. They all still believe in Santa. Right now none of them know it is us, or if they do they choose not to believe it or care.
I love it!!
Magic is real!
