Has anyone been to Divine Consign? I have never been and understand it is going to be in Plano this weekend and wanted to hear your thoughts! Also, any suggestions as to what would make the visit easy to get through?

It's great and gets very very crowded. Bring a laundry basket to help you carry things. You can find very good bargains there. Also, first time moms, foster parents, and volunteers can sign up to get in the presale, but space is limited so with the event being this weekend, I'm not sure if there is any availability left.

great sale, go as early on in the sale as possible, don't take kids, be patient during checkout. even if the line looks long it moves pretty well and is worth it for the great deals. also, bring something to put stuff in, a laundry basket with rope tied to it, a stroller, etc. they'll have tons of clothes.

I LOVE THIS SALE! I WAIT and GO EVERY SEASON. It really is nice clothes and in good condition. If you have a little one, wait for the 1/2 price sale and you will get a ton of clothes. Mine is older now and the selections is small, but when he was a baby, I didn't buy anything new at the store. I bought for the whole season. CUTE CUTE STuff. Take a stroller to hang your clothes on until you check out.

J., Yes, the sale is definitely worth going, and yes it is huge! I plan on going this year myself. Last year I was able to go as a First-Time Mom (you can sign up for the presale if your first baby is less than 1 year). I very highly recommend you do this because then you get first pick before th general public, and therefor aren't left with the more used stuff. You can sign up on the website. And you can bring your baby if needbe. I definitely recommend bringing your stroller (baby or not) so you can carry your items easier. I plan on going again this year, but I am going only to the half-price sale which is on the last day (the 6th, I believe). There will be many fewer items but for half the price!

I actually consigned there last season. I think they anticipate about 500 consignors. It is HUGE! I know they improved the check out process this time around, but expect the lines to be just as HUGE! I waited over an hour to pay for the stuff I had purchased. Don't go with kids if you can help it and bring something to put your stuff in. I didn't and my arms were overflowing. You will find prices all over the map since each consignor prices her own stuff. If you compare it to a resale shop, prices are fairly in line. If you compare it to a garage sale, you will think it is way over priced. It is convenient in that everything is sorted and completely organized. It is easy to spend more than you think you will so be prepared with a budget.

I loved it, it was fun but be ready to stay late...long lines to check out. Also take a stroller to help drag things around. I don't think I'll go again simply because everything I got seemed like such a bargain at the time & after a few days I realized that I got exactly what I paid for (not really that cheap). My friends found adorable winter coats though. Go, have fun & stick to your budget :)
