We love Under the Sea indoor playground and the Aquatic Center (my little one is 2). My older nieces have been having a great summer hanging out at Hurricane Harbor. The Placerita Nature Center is really fun but HOT (especially lately).
Can anyone recommend any fun things to do during the day around the Santa Clarita Valley? Thanks!

I was going to mention Sky City and the Aquatic Center as well.
If you want to get out of the HOT valley, one of our favorite day trips is to go to the beach--Marina Park in Ventura/Oxnard is our favorite--mostly families with little kids. Just take the 126W to the 101N, exit Seaward, left on Pierpont, right on Greenock. Takes about an hour.
Locally, try taking a walk around the lake in Bridgeport (Newhall Ranch & McBean). There are lots of ducks & geese, plus a few egrets and herons to look at. (You are not supposed to feed them.) It's a beautiful walk, too.
For slightly older kids, they also now have Sky City Bounce House near Super WalMart and Scooters Jungle off Kelly Johnson in Valencia. The Edwards Theater in Canyon Country shows free kids movies on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings, and to stay out of the heat, it's always fun to meet a friend at an indoor playground (like at the mall or a fast food restaurant). Also, you should look in to joining your local MOMS club if you haven't yet. You can send an email to ____@____.com to find out which chapter to contact.
