in Porter Ranch, try Creative Leap, and there is one in Eagle Rock Peekaboo Playground? They're great and highly rated.
Hi, I am looking for a location for a children's party that also has an indoor air-conditioned area for the adutls in the San Fernando Valley area, Burbank and Glendale included. I was wondering if you have any other suggestions aside from Chuck E. Cheese.

I think Under the Sea in Northridge is air conditioned. I have never been inside but I think it is an indoor playground for young kids.
I've never been in this place, but I pass it almost everyday. It's called Jumping Genius and it's in West Hills, at the corner of Roscoe and Fallbrook. It looks like a Mommy & Me kind of place.
"Under The Sea" on Buena Vista & Victory blvd in Burbank.
ive heard that castle park is a good birthday spot
How about Playsource, My Gym or Nikki's gym..also a new one just opened up called The Littlest Gym. They are all located in Woodland Hills, except My Gym which is everywhere!
I believe that there is a MyGym in Burbank, but you have to usually make reservations really early. Also, there used to be air-conditioned cars at Travel Town - many of the trains are used for birthday parties and they are air-conditioned.
Try Under The Sea in Burbank. The kids love it. They run around and play and the adults can join in or chat with each other and snack!
Hi Joy,
Check out My Gym. There are several locations in the valley. They have a great program.

My daughter just turned 5 and we've spent the past two school years going to lots of parties. There are too many indoor playgrounds in the Valley/Burbank/Glendale area to list here. A great place to find a listing is www.gocitykids.com. Go to the Los Angeles Guide. You can find listings under both Indoor Fun and Parties. LA Parent and LA Family Magazine both have tons of ads throughout their magazine for party locations and ideas. Their back pages are loaded with party ads for both locations and party services. Both magazines can be found for free at many locations. There are cool indoor playground in every part of the Valley. There are also alternatives to the playground route. I've been to parties at Under the Sea in Burbank (their other valley location is Northridge near the mall), Creative Leap in Northridge/Porter Ranch, Color Me Mine in Encino (lots of other locations) and My Gym in West Hils and Toluca Lake (lots of other locations). The favorite has been My Gym. I've gone to 5 parties there 4 this school year alone. A really cool place in Santa Clarita is Sky City Bounce House. It's four rooms of giant inflatables like slides and bouncers. Like what you'd see at a Carnival or Fair. My kids and their friends love going there to just play. Haven't had a party there but looks like it would be fun. Parents can join in the fun too, unlike other indoor playgrounds. There are lots of new places including some that specialize in dress up. There are kids tea houses too, I know of one in Santa Clarita but I think there's one in the valley now. Most if not all of these places can be found in LA Parent, LA Family and Go City Kids. LA BabyZone has some listings too. Hope this helps.
Yes, Under The Sea in Burbank is great.
I had my daughter's second birhtday at Creative Leap in Porter Ranch. It was great!!!! K.
I like the indoor play areas...we went to Under the Sea which has locations in Burbank and Northridge. It's air conditioned and has stuff for little ones and older too. We didn't do it until my daughter's 2nd b-day, but it was fun!

There is a great place called Under The Sea in Burbank. I think it is on Buena Vista & Victory. They have several locations. Here is their website:

Good luck and have fun!
first b-day is a bit young, but you could try under the sea, or the jump around...
At travel town, you can rent one of the air conditioned train cars for like $100 then bring in your own food.
Try The Jump Around in Canoga Park. It is sooo much fun even for the adults in your party. This place is so clean and a BIG hit with all ages. http://www.thejumparound.com/
Under the Sea in Burbank and Santa Clarita.

Scooter's Jungle in Valencia and also near Woodland Hills.

Try Under the Sea in Burbank or Froggies in Toluca Lake. Good luck!
Creative Leap in Porter Ranch is one and My Gym (located all over the valley - I love the one in Northridge on Reseda) does GREAT parties...
Try www.amysindoorplayground.com in Pasadena, Ca
I've celebrated my children's (9 and 4yrs old) B-day party there. I paid for the most basic package on weekends for private parties. If you're looking for a cheaper price, you can also do it during weekdays (during open to public hours), but you run the risk of having a Bday party on a crowded day. I made a mistake of going there on a rainy day! After reading the reviews, I wouldn't recommend to go so much to visit but definitely to celebrate a Bday party!
Good luck and have fun!
I would try "under the sea," northridge, nice open area with A/C and tables to bring your own food/drinks for the party. They do themed parties also. Another nice area I go often is Tiny Town, in Granada Hills, on Devonshire/Balboa. It's great, specially for one year olds. HTH.
I went to a birthday party in Burbank called "Under the Sea". It was great! Its air conditioned and all indoor activities w/ lots to play on. It has the same time restraints and Chuck E Cheese, but it is not as Chaotic as I believe there is only 2 parties at the most at a time. Good luck to you.
Put some AWE into your little girls birthday party with a REAL B.. She comes to your location, performs, plays, teaches, interacts and entertains. Perfect for any age child. Ballet theme birthdays are complete with Birthday B.!
Check out our easy-to-read website for all the details. We have video, pictures, resumes, pricing and more. Nothing comes close to the whimsy of a Birthday B. party.

How about Gymboree in Burbank? They do a 2-hour party with everything set up for you. The 1st hour is teacher-led age appropriate activities and the 2nd hour is for food/cake and free play.
You can bring in your own food and cake, etc. Very safe and fun indoor location!
Hi, I attended a b-day party for a 2 year old at My Playroom in Sherman Oaks. It was clean, air-conditioned and the kids seemed to have a great time. I don't know about the pricing though, so you gotta check it out! Good luck. =)
Under the Sea in Burbank is great!
