Day/Child Care Computer Software

I am the administrator of a small daycare/school. We are growing rapidly and managing everything by hand is becoming overwhelming. Has anyone any experience with (can recommend) computer software for daycares. There are a number out on the market, and I have tried a few, but I want some input from Moms. If you are not a daycare provider, please would you ask your daycare provider what computer software they use for admissions, check-in, tuition, extra charges, etc.? Thanks so much.

What can I do next?

I run an in home daycare and use CK Kids Minute Menu... It is fairly easy to use, and it costs like $80 for the first year and $40 every year after that. You can even use it to plan and submit your menus too. I hope it helps you. I am unsure of the web link, but if you do a search for CK Kids, I am sure you can find it.

B., I don' t know the answer to your question but did you know there is a group on LInkedIn for Daycare providers? If you are on LInkedIn I would suggest posting your question there. I am sure you will get many answers and opinions there. Good Luck

I do home childcare, and like other posters, I use Minute Menu Kids (AKA CK Kids..we just did an update and bit of a change in the program). I have used it for years since it first came out. It is free for those on Providers Choice food program.

I do all my accounting, parent reciepts, have parents on auto pay(no checks for me..no trips to the bank!!), food program, etc. You can make daily charts (I do just for for infants & toddlers....gets to be alot of ink and paper!)....menu planning, etc etc. Its GREAT!

Not sure tho if you are a center vs home based???
