I am looking for a recipe for a crockpot meatball appetizer - but I want to use pre made meatballs (frozen). Do you care to share a recipe that will work for me?

TIA!

Use bottled BBQ sauce but mix in apricot preserves so it's about 1/4 of the total mix of sauce--YUMMMY! (And you can put some finely diced onions in the sauce as well.)

Equal parts grape jelly and Chili sauce is good too. I also make a sweet meatball using cranberry sauce, ketchup, orange marmalade and some other ingredients. I don't have it right now, but if you are interested I can look it up. Send me a PM if you want the recipe. If the meatballs are still frozen I tend to cook them in the oven according to the package. If I defrost the meatballs, I stick them straight in the crockpot.

Equal mix of grape jelly and ketchup or grape jelly and BBQ sauce (I like it but I have a sweet totth) and put in enough to bathe the meatballs in. Last I recall 4-6 hours on low is adequate

Yes, I do! Easy, delicious and everyone will tell u how good it tastes.

1 frozen 16oz bag meatballs
1 med size original barbecue sauce
1 small grape jelly

Mix barbecue sauce and jelly into crockpot,
Add meatballs. Set on low and turn ocassionally.
Cook until tender.

If serving for a crowd, I'll prepare and start on high, then on low .
If u have time cook on low.

These taste great the next day and freeze well.

Yum!

My friend makes an amazing meatball recipe and I was shocked when I found out the ingredients. It is just a bag of the frozen meatballs, a bottle of Kikkoman Honey Pineapple teriyaki sauce and a can of chunk pineapple, with the juice. That's it! I swear I ate the whole pot!

I mix a small jar of grape jelly with a bottle of Chili Sauce (by Heinz, usually next to the ketchup in the store). Then just mix in the frozen meatballs and let cook on low all day. YUMMY!

The recipes that Denise P. and Kerry M. mentioned, are GOOD.
I make that.
My Mom used to make that when we were kids.
And her mom/my Grandma, used to make that too.
It is GOOD.
Real, good.
Easy.

Now, if your frozen meatballs are raw or cooked already?
Then, if it is cooked already but frozen, you don't have to do it in a crockpot. Because it is already cooked.
Do it on stove top.

I make mine the same way as MzKitty except I use two bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce. The crockpot is always empty and people are still looking for more.

I usually put a small amount of water in a large pot with the meatballs and heat on the stove letting the water boil for about 3 to 5 minutes. Basically just letting the meatballs thaw, and it helps to remove some of the fat in the meatballs. For a sauce - BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's is good); for an italian type use a jar of spighetti sauce; our favorite is terriaki using a terriaki stir fry marinade. Heat on low for at least 2 hours.
