not related to your interest but my husband is really into star wars so we circled the dance floor and made an arm bridge that everyone in the wedding party went through to starwars music. Very fun and everyone got a good laugh out of it....B.
Anyone have any creative ideas for something for the wedding party to do for the grand march at the reception? Would have to be somewhat inexpensive. Groom is into golf, Bride likes biking, they both love the Packers. Can't really think of anything along those lines though. The bar they met at has a hula hoop competition to a certain song, but we can't think of how to incorporate that in exactly either.
Any general ideas? Maybe something that doesn't involve their interests but would still be fun/unique? If we can't come up with anything, we'll just go with the traditional grand march entrance, but are still trying to come up with something more fun at the last minute (wedding is this Saturday). I know doing something at the grand march isn't a tradition in all areas, but it is quite common in our area.

Do the Packers have a theme song?
Hank Williams Jr. - all my rowdy friends, or the Monday Night football theme.
did you see JLo and Tom Cruise. You could have them reinact that dance
Sorry ~ I'm still trying to figure what a grand march is at a wedding. I know they have them at proms but I've never seen anything like a prom grand march at a wedding and, thanks to my husbands abundance of cousins, I go to at least 2 every summer.
At our wedding, my sisters (unbeknownst to us) had each "couple" write their own introduction as though they were introducing a starting line-up. Both of us love sports and it was really really funny. They literally announced my bridal party with "leading off the line-up tonight" and it ended with "batting clean-up the new Mr. and Mrs...".
When my sister got married, we asked her to let us pick the entrance song (Def Leopard) and each couple choreographed their entrance. It was cute and set the tone for a great party.
