Could I Be Pregnant? - Bowling Green,KY

I had protected sex for the first time on the 24th-26th. I am not on any birth control but we did use a condom. Each time only lasted around 10 minutes because my partner could not keep an erection, & he did not ejaculate any of the 3 times we had sex. My last period began around the 9th or 10th of july. My period was due on the 9th of this month & has yet to come. I have had some mild cramping off & on, as well as backaches, headaches & breast tenderness. I realize that the chances of me becoming pregnant could be slim but I am worried that I might be. Any advice would help to ease my mind.

What can I do next?

Buy a pee test! That will really ease your mind!

It's very possible. I would sit tight & take a pregnancy test ASAP...if I remember correctly I think the earliest one can take it is 5 days after a missed period...but I'm not sure. I have a friend who got pregnant 2 times while using a condom...so it's not very reliable! I also got pregnant with my 2nd child while using the "pull out method." Of course this isn't really a method, but I'm telling you b/c only a little ejaculate came out inside and voila...I have my beautiful, spunky 1 1/2 year old now. Look online to see which test gives the earliest results. Good luck.

Pregnacy test for sure. In fact, take one now....then wait a few weeks and if there's no period, take another. And refrain from having anymore sex until you have had your period. It would only complicate matters.

I agree with the other moms and take a test, but I would say your test will come out negative! Your period might be late due to stress, or something else, but to ease your mind take a test! I know there is 1 that you can take before you even miss a period but now I can't remember the brand! Good Luck hun.

It seems pretty slim chance that you could be pregnant but a test will ease your mind, there are some early detection ones. And also know that sometimes stress can make your period late, such as the stress of worrying about being pregnant!

I doubt you are pregnant, worrying can make your period late for one. Exercise can make it late, there are a few things not to mention it doesn't always fall on the same day. Take a warm bath, have some good sex, and relax and maybe it will come. :o) In the future, get on birth control AND a condom.

Always a chance if you had sex at all; however, you just described the same symptoms I have each month. I would say relax and see if your period doesn't start in a day or two. If not, wait another week or two and do a pregnancy test.
