Ladies how do you sign your Christmas cards when you have a combined family? I am divorced and still carry my ex husbands name because of our two sons, but we live with my fiance and his daughter. I send out Christmas cards every year but I don't know how to sign them this year. Thanks.
So everyone agrees first names are sufficient. That's what I'm doing. I love Rob, N. and our little elves........ Thanks ladies.

Just write first names?
yeah, just first names.
sometimes I do first names other times I do "The Smith-Jones family"......I get all kinds of free return address lables so whatever I have is what goes on the envelope, sometimes my name sometimes his.
I'm married, and my husband and I have a daughter together, but my son is from another relationship and has a different last name...
so I just sign our Christmas cards with everyone's firts names (its family and friends...they know who we are!)
HI N. :-)
I would sign the card, LOVE, N... and the first names of the rest of your family (your two sons, your step daughter and your fiance).. no need for last names :-)

I also sign with only first names. Anyone I am sending a card knows who we are!
Love,
Anthony, Jenn, and Roxy.
First names only, and on the outside of the envelope I just put our last names in the corner like:
Smith-Jones
123 Alphabet Ln.
Fontana, Ca. 92336
Hi N., I understand how this is tricky. I'm in a blended family. Hubby and I got married a year ago and everyone "assumes" I've changed my last name, which I haven't. I do intend to eventually, but will be hypenating it. So I just did our cards and signed them like this:
Love from the Heck-Perkins': Jason, F., McK, Ams and Jax (kids nick names)
On the outside envelope I use Jason Perkins and F. Heck.
Our answering machine at home says "Thanks for calling the Heck-Perkins'..."
I would say just use first names, it's easiest! Good luck and congrats!!!
I've done it like this: "Jane & John, and our little 'elves' X, Y, & Z"
You don't have to be cheesy with the "elves" - you could come up with something else for the kids. :P
