Does anyone know of a good Chinese bakery in the Mesa/Temp/Chandler area. Our family loves Chinese cakes for birthdays and back in California they were easy to find but I have no idea where to look here.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Our family always gets the sponge cake topped with fruit for our birthdays at Asahi Bakery 6056 N. 16th St. ###-###-####. They have different flavor cakes with the fruit. The bakery is in Phoenix. You can take the 51 freeway and get off on Bethany Home Rd. to 16th St. Go North and it's on the west side of the street.

There are two bakeries one in Tempe called Asai Bakery and in Phoenix there is one called Asahi bakery on 16st and I'm thinking Bethany Road or Glendale. I tried their baked goods at the yearly Festival at the Heritage Square center. Their baked goods were delicious! Even some of the different goods that I have never heard of were really tasty. I hope you find what your looking for and that this might help!

LeeLee's Oriental Market on Dobson and Warner, NE corner. I don't know about birthday cakes, but they have a lot of chinese stuff, and they make food right in the market.
