I was soooo hoping to be pregnant with my second this month when I started having some spotting this morning. I took clomid this month from day 3 to day 7 and i think ovulated on the 7th of May. My last cycle was April 21st. Do you think this could be implantation bleeding. Its the 30th day and pregnancy test is negative.

What can I do next?

I had bleeding both times I was pregnant but it only lasted one day. See if it stops and then take the test again in a few days.

Good luck!

If you had confirmed ovulation on 5/7 then today's spotting is almost certainly your period starting. That would give you a perfect luteal phase - a great sign that the Clomid is working and your progesterone levels are sufficient. I'm sorry you're not pg but good luck next month!

It's hard to say. How long is your typical cycle? Have you been charting everything such as fluids, ovulation pains, etc.? This info really helps you to know your body well enough to know when you could possibly be pregnant.
If you have a longer ovulation cycle it is possible that you could be pregnant and the spotting could be implantation spotting.
If you are trying and are unsuccessful, you may want to get your hormones checked to make sure both your estrogen and progesterone are high enough to support a pregnancy. If they aren't your doctor can prescribe hormones for you to take during your cycle so that you can get, and maintain, a healthy pregnancy.

When I had my first child that was around when I implanted. It was right in line with when my period would be. The implantation bleeding started out like my period. I wore a pad for two days "waiting" for my period to set in. It never did. Then I thought, hey try a test. It did show positive. Cycles are so varied. The wait to know is a rough one. One week can seem like forever. Basically, pray about it. Turn it over to God and go on with life. You will know in a short time.

Good luck!
