"DK First Human Body Encyclopedia". LOVE!!!! My 3, 4 and 6 year olds love it and go through it again and again. The library probably has it.
My son is very interested in body parts right now and curious about them so I'd like to find a book that isn't cutesy but doesn't go into more detail than necessary. Any suggestions?
Thank you! I will be ordering some things tonight! We do use proper names for their private parts. I have a daughter and they are very interested in each others private parts right now - ugh! Hopefully these books and open dialogue will help lessen the interest.

Ditto Amy J, those DK books are awesome!
There is a Disney Human Anatomy book. I got it for my son at a Scholastic book fair . He loved that book. It was perfect for that age group, not cutsie & very age appropriate.

I think its a great book. Simple enough using a little boy and girl as examples. There definitely is some information about private parts but it is very simple.
Good luck.
"Outside In" by Clare Smallman is a great one. It's a flap book. Covers skin, breathing, bones and teeth, eating, blood, heartbeat, teeth, heart. The flaps open up and show what's happening inside the body based on the topic (ie breathing, etc). Just the right information for his age.
