There is a hill at the main park in the newest section of The Woodlands (Creekside) off of Gosling. Last year they had the whole hill filled with Bluebonnets. It is a safe area to go without worrying that you or the family will be hit by cars!

Alternatively, a great place for pretty pictures is Mercer Arboretum just north of 1960. The plant life there is phenomenal and its a really popular place for wedding, prom, and graduation photos etc... I took my little girls there last spring to take Easter photos and there were several brides taking photos that day!

Good luck and God Bless!

Hi. We actually just went down and had pics on Saturday, and they turned out beautifully. We drove down 105 just until we were almost in Montgomery, and we might have been there anyway, I'm just not certain. So, anyway, drive down 105, and on the right hand side of the road is a large field just full of them. They are beautiful. There is a house and barn deep in the back, and two flags as well. If you've gone to the firestation on the right hand side, you've gone just too far. As the field is right in front of it.
Hope this helps.

Chappel Hill and Brenham are the best places to go..just out 290 but go now. They won't last much longer. Also if you want to sight see go on a Saturday. Everything is closed on Sunday. Chappel Hill sausage and Blue Bell ice cream factory. If you want a tour of Blue bell...go there first get your tickets then go take pics. There is usally a wait for the tours..many hours. Good Luck and have fun!!

The best fields are out 290 in Washington County between Chappell Hill and Brenham. There is a fab field right past 1155 in Chappell Hill with a sweet barn and just a bit further down 290 on the left is another huge field. You can find a few more as you approach brenham.

If you head down HWY 290 headed toward Austin, you can find them all along the road and they even have some places that are set up for you to pull over for pictures.
