My friends daughter is almost 10 months old. She is finding teeth marks in the wood of her crib. She has also found chunks of wood in the baby's mouth. How can she stop this dangerous nasty habit??!

What can I do next?

LOL its soooo normal!

Watch out for wood toys and window sills as well.... completely harmless unless there is an older home then they need to make sure no lead paint is present.

Hi S.,
Tell her to go to Babies-R-Us. They make things that you can put on the crib so babies can't bite on it. My son did the same thing.

As others suggested plastic crib rail covers. Just make sure they fit the crib securely! Also make sure the crib doesn't have any rough spot where she could get splinters.
