I would go get it checked out by a doctor ASAP. I, too, am allergic to bee stings, and have been told that the allergen is progressive - in other words, hives this time may mean no hives and anaphylactic shock next time. Why chance it??
I know I am allergic. It was a small bee so I have not rushed home to get my epipen. Here is the issue. I dont know if it is just nerves of getting stung or what but I feel like I have a knot in my chest. I have also been reading about the lost girls. Anyways is this what they mean by the chest tightening?
I have never had this happen during a sting. Usually just hives, then hospital because I cannot breath at all. I am kinda scared but not totally if you know what I mean. I think it could be the I really dont wanna cry at work thing!
ETA cna here said I am starting to rash but no hives... I cannot see it! (great right) it was one of those baby stinger bees... the ones you can see but barely feel. Uhg guess its dr after work... I hate being alergic when its this season...

Please forgive my ignorance...why is your Epipen at home when you are at work? Anyone I know with bee allergies has to keep it with them or within reach at ALL times.
The reason being, allergies are progressive, you've had hives, then the trouble breathing another time, so it IS progressing. This or next time it could be anaphylactic shock, and trust me, you won't have a warning "this is a bad reaction, so take it seriously," it will just happen.
And it really doesn't depend on the size of the bee, the fact that you are allergic is enough. Leave work and get to a doctor ASAP.
If you have ANY questions at all about something like that, it is best to talk to medical personnel...
Do you have any medical staff at work? Some places do.....
The tightness in your chest sounds like part of an allergic reaction. I would worry about that progressing to anaphylaxis.
GO to the Doctor or urgent care or ER.
Go now and leave work to do so.
Don't wait.
