Most of my friends have their babies after their due dates. I haven't seen a difference on the first or the last. I personally am pregnant with #4 and I had all three of my babies a week or two early. You just never know.

Good luck on #1!

I think in general that is true, but my first baby was 13 days early. My second baby, I had contractions for a month and needed medication to stop them - and then ended up being induced, haha! Pregnancy is God's way fo teaching that you are no longer in control of your own life.

My babies were born
#1 natural @ 36 weeks
#2 induced @ 38 weeks
#3 natural @ 37 weeks

This isn't something I would spend alot of time thinking bout cuz there is really no way to know :)

I think it really varies. There is no way to know. I was right on my due date, my cousin came early, 3 other cousins were late, i have a couple friends that were early. They say they usually go past, but you just never know. Congrats on the baby though!!!

When I had my first child I actually was started 2 days before his due date because he was sitting on my siatic nerve. But for my 2nd child, he decided to come 2 weeks before his due date. I think it really depends on well you are progressing when it gets closer. Your doctor will check and see how things are moving along. If you diluating well, sometimes doctors will strip your membranes to see if they will help progress things faster. It really is up to you. Good luck.

It all just depends. I gave birth to my daughter (first and only right now) 2 weeks early. She was due on March 17th and she was born on March 4th.

Congrats and good luck!! :)

Every pregnancy is different. My daughter was born 10 day after the due date.
The baby will come when it comes. If you are concerned this is a topic to be discussed with your doctor/mid wife.

Hi! Not necessarily, I went two weeks early with my first one. I am sure each person and pregnancy vary. Good luck!

I believe the rule of thumb for firsties is that they usually come a little early. My first one came two weeks early, the second was right on the nose.

My first came at 38 wks and 3 days and second came at 40 wks and 1 day. So it really just depends on your body, mother nature, and your daughter. She will make her apperance when she is ready and not a moment before. Dont stress B. just try and enjoy your pregnancy.

I know I sure did with my first baby. I was almost 2 weeks late. The DR was starting to talk about giving me med to kinda kick things off, and the next day I was in lador. I know its hard, and you are uncomfy sweety....just hang in there. She will come when she is ready. Make sure you have a talk with your doc about what his/her feelings are on inducing your labor.

Hang tough sweety
