I'm 35 weeks now, but was told after an ultrasound weeks ago (I would say at least 5) that the baby's head was engaged, and she's still way low. I don't think it's all that uncommon for them to drop early.
Yesterday I was sitting on the couch, and when I stood up, I had the weirdest feeling. Every since then, I've been able to breathe easier, my ribs don't feel smushed and I just ate 3x more at one time than I've been able to in MONTHS! You know, an actually meal rather than a little snack! I have a Dr. Appt Tuesday, but I was wondering if the baby has dropped already??? I thought babies didn't drop until 2-4weeks before labor started????

Your right baby may have dropped down a little , he/she may not be engaged but they can move lower down. With my 2nd pregnancy my daughter was almost fully engaged at 34 weeks and I was convinced she was going to come early , but no she was 6 days late!
Enjoy this new comfortable feeling!
Your baby may have dropped or just moved positions. I carry very high so with both my pregnancies I always had my babies up in my ribs even after the doc. told me I dropped. Also I know woman who's babies are never up in their ribs at all. So it just depends. Ask your doc about it at your next appointment.
