My family is having a bbq for my dad's birthday this weekend. And we are trying to put together some dips and salads to go along with the menu. In the past I have tasted a spinach dip with I think a creamcheese base. I don't know the recipe so if any of you ladies out there know a good recipe to share with me or anyother dips that would be good, please let me know! Thanks a bunch!

The spinach dip I've always used is the one made with the Knoor Vegetable Soup Mix. The directions are on the bag. It's basically sour cream, mayonnaise, spinch, onion and the soup mix. Serve with Hawaiian bread. Very yummy and very easy!

The one on the back of the Knorr's box of dry vegetable soup mix is a classic and easy to make. I've never had any complaints with it.

We've tried different recipes but haven't found anything better than the Santa Barbara brand from costco.

for a yummy fruit dip (especially berries):
1 tub cool whip-thawed
1 6oz vanilla pudding (dry mix)
1 tablespoon amaretto (or more to taste)
stir together and enjoy
