Wow - I was going to ask the same question and my name is also A. R!!!! I look forwrd to the responses.
My 7 year old daughter has recently become fascinated with taking karate lessons. We took her to a place that offered a free intro lesson and she LOVED it, but we got serious sticker shock when we found out the rates (and they also required a 1 year or 3 year contract).
Any suggestions for an alternate place that doesn't require a long term contract (as a 7 year olds interests CHANGE...and I can see her losing interest in a couple of months)?
Thanks in advance!

Hi A.,
I know of a company called Kicks for Kids. I have seen them perform and it is outstanding. The owners name is Jennifer and her number is ###-###-####
Not sure the name of it but there is a place on Avalon Park Blvd next to Academic Achievers-right across from the CVS. Know they have some short term summer programs etc that might be perfect. We haven't been but we go to Academic Achievers right next door and the kids seem to be having a blast and really learning a lot in there.
The YMCA in Lake Mary has a fantastic Tae Kwan Do program for reasonable rates. You don't have to be a Y member to take the classes, although Y members get a discount. And the instructor has his own program too, although I don't know where that is located.
