So What Happened?

Thanks I am not personally interested in it at all but this is the second time my husband has had someone come over to talk from two semingly different companies from two different state (that we lived in) and I found that they are the same. Neither of which look like good idea's in my opinion and review.

In my early 20's I briefly became an Amway rep. I am NOT the right personality, and dropped it quickly when I gained the impression that friends and relatives were running the other way whenever I showed up with my little basket of free samples. And I also realized I ran the other way when friends and relatives who were trying to sell things came into my vicinity.

I have known a few people who seemed (many years ago) to have done fairly well with it over a period of a year or more. But for me it was a bust. I invested more money in my samples than I ever earned back.

I'm not familiar with the terms you use, Global and Team, but those may be new innovations since I was involved. If you end up going this route, I wish you well.

I don't do Amway specifically but with any company such as that you have to have people in and around your circle that are going to be interested in the product to make it profitable and successful at least that is what I have found with the 2 companies I am associated with.

I know several who have tried it out, but eventually just resigned to using it to get discounts on the products. You REALLY have to work at it. I encourage you to check out whylifeforce.com. The Thank You checks come so much more easily than the amway checks, and at a higher percentage/order. I've been doing LifeForce for a few years to try out the products, and have just started to build my team, after experiencing how they have made a big difference in how I feel everyday. If you want to know more, email me @ ____@____.com, and I'll help you get started, or give you additional resources to check out.

yeah i did it very briefly too, and it's not a good one to start with. It's not as easy to sell as other things, and the start-up costs generally turn off most people. There are much better direct-sale companies out there, if someone was interested. Like I do PartyLite, and it's way easier to sell! And a lot more fun! most of the Amway people were way too serious for my tastes.

I think that Amway is a great company. They are very "green" earth friendly. The variety of products that they sell is amazing. The companies that they have partnered with are also great companies. They stand behind their products too.
