I am currently using the sudocrem, but will change the wipes too, and i will also try putting the vaseline on before the nappi, thank you for all the replies, i really appreciate it fellow moms!!!!!

Maybe dryness? Try a different wipe too. Wipe really well, even if the diaper seems to wick away the urine.
If you do NOT smell an odd odor coming from her when you are changing her diaper, put vaseline on her vaginal area before putting on the new diaper.
If it continues after changing wipes and using vaseline for 3 days... talk to her pediatrician.
try drypers... i am using this cream for my baby's allergies... sudocrem.. it's effective... yeast on year old babies is uncommon...
do you think she might have a UTI? My daughter has Urine Reflux and gets them often...just a thought.
Try fragrance free wipes and diapers. My son had a sensitivity to anything with fragrance (and still does).
My daughter started itching a few months ago & her ped told me to bring her right in. They tested her urine & it was a UTI. Itching was her only symptom. Antibiotics cleared it right up. Hope your lil one feels better soon!
follow-up with Pediatrician. sounds like yeast...they will tell you on what is best to help relieve the itching...Poor baby! Hope she feels better soon.
See your pediatrician - babies can get cystitis and vaginitis.
Maybe a yeast infection? I would talk with the pediatrician and see what they say--- she sounds like she is itchy so maybe its yeast? Also, have you switched your detergent or soap you use when you bathe her? It could be that as well.
Best wishes,
M
Let the doc take a look. My lo had a yeast infection and that's what it sounds like.
it could be yeast..go to pedi to get it checked out and a prescription if it is.
Go see your doctor. It sounds like a yeast infection and regular diaper cream will not help. She needs a stronger medication. Changing diapers won't help either.
