Hi C.,

I want to refer you to a company called the sheepfold log on to www.thesheepfold.org or call (877)743-3736 It is a Christian organization that help women who are in an abusive relationship. I was raised all my childhood with a father that was very abusive to my mother and it's somthing that you never forget. I don't know if you have children but the best thing you can do is get help. I have a heart for women that are in an abusive relationship and hope someday to open a womens shelter just like the Sheepfold. I will be praying for you. God Bless..

"Women Who Love Too Much" by Robin Norwood. I'm not sure if it's still in print, but while I was in college it came with an audio cassette. It really openned my eyes, good luck.

better than a book, is to seek some professional support, or the support of a shelter that will help someone get to a safe place. there are many resources that can help, some include jeness foundation-- 800-479-7328 or national hotline for domestic violence is 800-799-SAFE (7233)
