My 5 month old daughter is waking during the night, actually not fully waking, just whimpering with her eyes closed. Sometimes I find her on all fours with her eyes closed and crying. It's not gas, I have given her teething medicine before bed, she ate before bed, and she was an AMAZING sleeper up until 2 weeks ago. She has been sleeping through the night since 4 weeks and now she wakes 4-5 times a night but quiets when I put her pacifier in her mouth. She does not self soothe and will not cry herself back to sleep. I've tried it. Any suggestions? Please help :/

My son was a noisy sleeper and I just turned the monitor down and let him be. I would go in there and he'd be completely asleep.

This is normal.

I am going to guess she is about to go through a development crawling or pulling up. Her mind is working things out.

Like the other moms say, if she is not out and out crying, leave her be.

She's about to learn a new skill. From the sound of it she is really working hard on it. Just turn off your baby monitor and let her self sooth, she will learn honest.
You may also try putting a fan on, making the room darker and playing music on continuous play. This is also about the time they start having actual dreams.
