You may well have been pregnant but had an early miscarriage. It is quite common. Trust your doctor's results, especially blood work.
So pretty much, my last period was October 28 it’s been 40 days since then, after my missed period I took a test it was negative a day later I took another and it was positive. So I took two more and all three were positive. I’ve been having morning sickness, tired headache that wouldn’t go away for three days plus emotional. After taking my positive test, three days later I got a negative test at my doctors office (pee test). They also took blood and I’m waiting for that to come back. I went home and took the same kind of test I did when I got my positive results. And this one was negative too. A couple hours later I started to bleed. Feels like my period. Cramps and bleeding. My boobs have been tender for weeks now. Anyways I hope this made sense. I just want too know if anyone thinks I could still be pregnant or not (again, I took a blood test today, will not get the results tell Monday. ) the test I took at the doctors was a pee test. Pee in a cup not a blood test, I went to a lab to do that.
Today or tomorrow I’ll be getting my blood results back.
I was bleeding for a day and half.
So idk if that was the miscarriage or a short period.

If your doctors test says negative, I'd believe it.
Okay, thanks everyone.
I’ve been trying to have a baby now, for a year and a half. I’ve had two miscarriages. So when I had three positive test, I was happy and now I’m kinda just depressed and feel like giving up.
It sucks really bad, going to the doctors all happy, then leaving crying your eyes out. I literally paid cash 150 to pee in a cup.
Then they sent me to a lab to do a blood test, another 50. So yesterday was probably the worse day ever. And then on top of it, I start bleeding. And it doesn’t feel like a miscarriage (again, I’ve had two already.) it just feels like my period. Witch doesn’t make any sense to me. So I’m confused and a little depressed

Well, we’re trying to have a baby of course. But we have sex for the fun of it as well, I’m not stressing to get pregnant, but we are trying.
But when you get THREE positive test, it makes you super excited. Then to pee on another stick and it be negative is pretty upsetting. So but thanks for the comments.

We’re trying to have a baby, but I’m not stressing about it.
If it happens it happens. But when you get a positive and then you get a negative at your doctors. It’s sad and stressful.
We been trying, and we want a baby. That’s why we’re trying.
Ha.
But my period or whatever it was only lasted a day and a half.
Felt like a period tho, not a miscarriage.
But today or tomorrow, I’ll get my blood test results back.

I started spotting today, super light. Like drops...
And my “period” or “miscarriage” bleeding lasted a day and a half.
From what you've written here, if you were pregnant (I think it's fairly rare to get false positives on pregnancy tests), then it would appear you no longer are. You'll have to wait until you get the blood test results to be absolutely sure, but I would say you are are not. Sorry :(
My personal advice (not sure you want to hear this, as I know how hard it is when you want to become pregnant) would be to just wait for the results and try again if you're not. Trying to guess if you are and searching the internet is only going to stress you out in the long run (or it would me, anyhow).
If it were me, I'd let the doctor's office know what's happened when the nurse calls with your blood test results. Best to you.
yes.
you could be pregnant.
or not.

The best way to know if you were pregnant is to do a blood test for your hormones. They will show elevation in that area if you were or are. If you were pregnant the numbers will show higher. If you are still pregnant they will increase, if not, they'll go down.
I'm not sure I understand your math. When you say "40 days since then," you don't mean since your last period (September 28th was 71 days ago). So do you mean you are 40 days from when you expected your period in late October? Do you normally have a long cycle? That can throw off the calculations.
The same or similar question has been posted many times on other sites, all specifying 40 days. You might check here for helpful answer while you wait to hear from your doctor:

The best advice I can give you, K., is to stop trying. You are putting a lot of pressure on your body to conceive. It is in "flight or fight" mode. Stop TRYING. Go back to having sex for fun and not stressing over whether or not you get pregnant.
I don't think you were pregnant. I think your hormones were all over the place, which is what can happen when we want something so bad, our brains go into overdrive and create more hormones...
It took me 6 years and 6 miscarriages to have my daughter. I will say, after putting myself through the hell of waiting wondering and examining every body function....it doesn't help. Either you're pregnant or you're not. It sounds like you may have been pregnant but the bleeding indicates a miscarriage. HcG can stay in your system causing a positive pregnancy test even after a miscarriage.
I wound up getting pregnant well into my 40's and had my daughter. Just like that...even after 6 miscarriages. When it's right it will happen. I finally realized you can't force nature.
