A.M.
we used Dr. Brown's infant-13 months when he finished with bottles and went to sippy cups (which was a very easy transition). I love Dr. Brown's!
We have been using Avent bottles, but noticed that it takes twice as long for our son to drink from them verses a Playtex bottle that we have. We even have him at the last nipple setting. So, we are looking into switching bottles.
He is showing some interest in feeding himself the bottle, but he still has a long way to go. Is there a bottle that you have used that was more baby friendly for feeding themselves?
Thanks!

I agree with the others ... I would go straight to sippy cups. I had to try several with my son before we found one that he liked, but by 10 months he was off the bottle. However, I also used Avent bottles and when he was showing interest in holding the bottle himself because they are so wide he seem to struggle with that, so we switched to Target's bottles cause they were thin and easy to hold. Since I didn't want to spend a lot of money on bottles again - those worked perfect during the transition from bottle to sippy cup.
I agree...at 10 mos...go to a cup! In my home daycare, I take bottles away at a year (even if parents don't, they know I do for the time they are here). Also, at 10 mos and not holding a bottle themselves? Get on that too!!!
I have used just about every bottle there is at some point. Fat ones, skinny ones, angled ones. They can all be held by fat little hands connected to little bodies who WANT milk! LOL!
Just go to a cup...
Best wishes!!
why switch bottles when you can switch to a sippy cup? It's time!
At 10 months he is old enough to start introducing a zippy cup. That may help with self feeding as well.
Good luck.
