Grandparents Buying Way Too Many Xmas and Birthday Gifts
My parents have always been really into giving lots and lots of gifts at Christmas and birthdays. As an older child and teenager, I was actually a little embarrassed about the amount of gifts that would be under our tree. My folks were well off at that time, and they came from very modest backgrounds, so it was a big deal to them to buy lots of gifts.
