3 Year Old Behavior...

Hello there...I am looking for new tricks to have up my sleeve when dealing with my 3 year old daughter. As of late she has taken to shrieeking when put on a time out. I also have not been able to get her to say "I'm sorry for _____" once she's out of her time out. She flat out refuses and walks away or says she "can't". She also has taken to talking or raising her voice over mine to repeat herself when told "no" in getting something. This she picked up from me due to my using it when she started repeating herself so say "noooooo" over her....

Getting Ready in the Morning Is a Challenge

My 4-1/2 year old daughter takes forever to get ready in the morning for preschool. She goes to school 5 days a week and I have a hard time getting her to finish getting ready without having to tell her over and over again until I am at the point of yelling. She eventually gets up at 6:45am and eats breakfast from 7am–7:25am. Then she has to get on the potty since she hasn't gone yet. She will sit on the toilet for as long as I let her. She sings and talks and just hangs out there. (Seriously, it could be 15+min sitting on the toilet). I...

Getting on the Bus

Hello everyone. I have been an at home mom for the past 1 1/2 yrs. Now I am ready to get back in the work force and send my daughter off to school. She is enrolled in a intergrated class with kids that have speech problems. She will be getting theropy twice a week and the good thing about it is that 1/2 of the kids have speech problems and the other 1/2 doesn't. I am fine with everything but now I am worried about busing. she has to get on the bus to get to school. I can not take her myself but its in the opposite direction of my job...
