Seeking a Safe and Good Elementary School for North or North West LasVegas

We are moving from Texas to LasVegas. I am wanting to learn about some of the schools for my Nine year old son. He is in the Fourth grade and will be coming to Vegas in March. This is a big transition for both of us and I want this to be as comforting as I can for him. I am looking for a school that is in a safe area,friendly children,teachers and staff that are willing to help and help make my son feel at home.

How to Get My Daughter Tested for Kindergarten

Who do I call to look into having my 4 1/2 year old tested for Kindergarten? She misses the cutoff by 10 days (will be 5 on December 12). She's had one year of Preschool and we re-enrolled her fore Pre-K at the Preschool since she missed the cutoff for K. 3Rd Grade Dd, Larger than the Rest

Hi ladies, this one is breaking my heart and I am at my wits end with how to handle the situation. The last 3 years my dd has really shot up and out. She's only in 3rd grade and stands at least a head taller than all the other kids, not just her class but the entire grade. She has also put on weight and although she doesn't really seem to notice yet it's becoming obvious in the clothes she wears and wants to wear.
