Does anyone know of any evening/weekend activities for moms and kids? I work Mon-Thurs, but would love to spend time with other moms on Fridays, evenings or weekends. So far, most groups seems to be during my work days.

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Macomb (21 Mile Rd. and Romeo Plank has a MOPS group. It is for moms of children 0-preschool. They have meetings in the evening with a range of activities, like scrapbooking, speakers, parenting topics, moms night out, etc. babysitting is available. i think they also do things with kids maybe on weekends (like the zoo, etc.) you can call the church office for more info ###-###-#### or go to the website and follow links at immlutheran.org. many other churches have these groups as well, if this is not close to you.

I"m also interested in a working mom's group. I work Monday through Friday, and I'd love to meet other moms. My kids are ages 1 1/2 (girl) and 2 1/2 (boy) and I live in Royal Oak. Every group I've found happens to meet during the day while I'm at work. So, it's been difficult to meet other moms.
