You can have the GI bill or a portion of it help you in school too. Go on the gi bill website and you can see about transferring his gi bill to you so yall can get BAH and books and tuition paid while your in school. If he is med disabled, Does he have a disability rating from the Army? If not, he needs to file a claim for one because he rates it and will get a monthly payment.
I hope some of the moms here that do home work can help you in that area. I've heard of hospitals hiring people to do medical transcripts from home or something like that.
dang girl. you've got a lot on your plate. going to school for your R.N. is stressful enough!
im not sure where to tell you to go for this, but, a friend of mine works for Neiman Marcus from home. She makes good money and has benefits. When you call to place an order or to get customer support, you get her. She has certain hours a day that she has to answer the phone, but her kids are there when she does it. I think she went through a temp agency in Dallas, but got hired on full time. Maybe if you call the Neiman Marcus number, whover answers will be able to tell you how to apply.
Check out THR and see if they are hiring any medical coding folks. It is under the HIS department and with all the electronic medical records a bigger demand you have a great background for it.
If not THR, try a few of the other "big healthcare" players in our area.
For the most part it is work from home, a few meetings/trainings in Arlington at their headquarters.
Best of luck!!
**I put billing and i meant coding - the codes are used for billing, but I think different things.
