Oh yeah. "Easy".
Worst case scenario they just need to be sanded and reoiled.
Best case scenario they just need to be reoiled.
My grandmother gave me a set of her walnut salad bowls and spoons and told me not to submerge them in water. Last night, we had family over for dinner and my wonderful husband did a fantastic job of cleaning up. I didn't realize until this morning that he put the wooden salad bowls in the dishwasher!!! It was my fault for not telling him but I didn't even think of it. Now, they are peeling and bubbling. Is there any way to salvage them??

You could try mineral oil - put a ton on and let it soak in to see if it helps.
Sounds like they're toast. Sorry.
Don't cha just LOVE when husbands swing into "big helper" mode and ruin something important to you?
Can they be used for something else besides salad? Change? Keys?
Oh, I'm so sorry. You could ask someone in your area who restores and refinishes wood furniture. It can't hurt to ask!
This may be one to chalk up as an Enriching Educational Experience. And I, too, would try to find other uses for the bowls if I could, because of their sentimental value.
