Last year around September there were a few of us that got together to try & start a play group. It lasted a few months & was fun while it lasted. I was wondering if there are other moms that would be interested in meeting after work or on the weekends to let the kids play & give us some adult conversations. I would love to get something started especially since school is fixing to start up again. I would like to do things that are either free or minimal cost & can't wait to see the response from everyone.

Ok, so we have had a few people respond. My only available times to get together are on the weekends or after 5 in the evenings. Please email me & let me know the best times for you to meet & your zip code, so that I can make sure the first meeting is in a central location. Once I have everyone's information I will send you each a poll with different things to do & what day & when all the votes are in...then we will have our first meeting. I can't wait to get together & meet other parents & their kids.

I've started a moms group in Grand Prairie. It's still in its early stages but we have 9 members so far. It's on a website called meetup.com. We try to meet in the Grand Prairie/Arlington area. I think there are moms groups in Mansfield, also. Check out the site and you should be able to find something, I'm sure.

I would love to meet up. We've email each other in the past. I have a son that is 7 and a daughter that is 16 months old. I work full time so weekends are better for me. I've also tried posting a few times on here but no luck. I hope this works out for us. I don't have friends with kids my age there older. I would love to meet up with other moms.
