For the past few months my period has been very very light and only lasts around 3 days and i have really bad cramps. And the blood is more brown than red and is really thick? I have a doctors appointment tomorrow but was wondering what everyone has to say. Please help.
Some birth control pills cause this. Don't know if you are on birth control, but this happened to me when i took LoEstrin24 Fe.

I suffered with endometriosis for years.
The brown stuff is "old blood". For whatever reason, it seems it's not coming out the way it should.
Make and appointment with your doctor to talk about it.

that happend to me turns out i skipped ovalation and was bleeding in between peirods only it would last for more than a week . and then i would get my real period . turns out i had to take a pill to get me back on track and now because my periods are to heavy i have to have a sergery not a hisderectomy (spelling sorry) thank god tho . but good luck to you hope it aint anything serious.
