Tivoli Wines in Colleyville. ###-###-####, 62 Main Street, Suite 110.
Free tastings every Saturday from 12-6PM, lots of great boutique labels you won't see other places!
Tell them I sent you!
I would also recommend Tony's on Oaklawn
Check out WineStyles at Montgomery Plaza in FW, on the back side of the big ol' former Montgomery Wards complex, facing the Target and Ross area. They have wine tastings on Tuesday night during happy hour. It's not a restaurant, but a wine store. My recommendation? Try one called Lapis Luna, a full-bodied zinfandel. Wonderful!
For my birthday a few years ago we went to Tony's Wine Warehouse & Restaurant on Oak Lawn. It was a sit down dinner with someone that took us thru wines as well. It was a lot of fun.
For my friend's birthday last year we went to Tastings in downtown Grapevine which was very neat. The food was really good but the wine was the coolest part! Similar to Dave & Buster's or something, you can load a card with money. They have loooots of wines in the wall and you can choose to get a "tasting size" or more of each wine and it's deducted from your card. It's really neat since you can taste really nice wines that you may never want to pay for a whole bottle of. I would say to go there.
