I'm hosting a bridal shower and would like to do a wine tasting (likely at home vs at a bar/restaurant). Does anyone know of someone who could be our professional "sommelier"?

You may want to try your local "Wine Styles" - they may come to your home and bring the wine too! Or you might ask the Lynfred Winery ( I believe it's in the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area) for a referal. Best of luck!
My parents own Salt Creek Wine bar in Brookfield. ###-###-####. I'm sure they can help you. They do lots of private parties and maybe would be open to coming to your home. It's a great place.
Maybe you could ask at a place like Sam's Wine - they might have staff that could do it or refer you to someone.
