Ronzoni is very good. It has a nice wheat flavor regular pasta. I tried Barilla as well and I found it to get " starchy" and the flavor was ok.

Yes, Barilla makes an excellent whole wheat pasta. We've had the cardboard kind of wheat pasta before and this is nothing like that. Barilla also makes an in-between variety called Barilla Plus, which is loaded with extra protein and vitamins.

I buy Smart Pasta. It's the one in the Purple Box. It is a good compromise between taste and nutrition.

Barilla is by far the best. Some others I have tried have a funny taste - not Barilla!

I love them and use them when I can, I can't tell the difference and I'm the pickiest eater in my house! If anything, they may taste a bit more grainy PLAIN, but if you're putting butter or sauce or whatever on it, nope, no difference :)

OH, and my dad is kind of a DIY pasta connoisseur... I'll ask him for his favorite wheat pasta recipe and pass it along if I can get in touch with him :)
