Pregnant with my third. We have a Faith and a Caroline. I have 11 weeks to go and the top two names are Scarlett Clare and Allison Clare...or possibly Allison Grace....not sure. Which name seems to fit our other daughters names? We may wait till she is born to decide, that is what we did with our second. :) I do appreciate opinions though!
Thank you all for the compliments and great input! As far as spelling, we prefer Clare over Claire simply because that is the way that St. Clare's name is spelled....but for those of you with Claire's, that spelling is lovely also. :) Guess we'll have to see what she looks like when she comes!! Thanks again!!

Scarlett seems to fit in so well with the others,! Faith, one syllable, Caroline 3 syllables, Scarlett 2 syllables. Scarlett completes the set! This is why I think they just fit perfectly, each are very pretty and sophisticated names, but each have their own uniqueness because they are each different number of syllables. Allison and Caroline sound too similar with both having three syllables. Does this make sense? it's an energy thing, it just sounds right to me! Congratulations!

I like Allison better. It's classic. You normally wouldn't say the first and middle name of a person in general, but Allison Clare sounds like Alice Sinclaire. It would easily be confused. I do really like Clare though! But, I also like Grace.

Havent read the responses but I was always told imagine or actually yell out the name as if you were yelling for the child like thru the house or something and what ever seems to flow the best should be whats picked, I personally like Allison Grace tho :)

I love the name Grace although I love Hannah Grace if I had had a second daughter that would have been the name. I have told all my boys if they have a girl they have to name her Grace. They just roll their eyes and say ummmm my wife might want to pick the name lol

I know this wasn't one of your options, but I like Scarlett Grace. I like Scarlett better than Allison, and Scarlett Grace sounds better than Scarlett Clare.

Love them both - and love your first two girls' names. Usually when it's a tie between two names, I check to see which is less common and go with that one. But I think you can't go wrong with either. :)

i like Faith, Caroline, and Scarlett.
they are not trendy names and all seem to flow nicely. allison was very popular when i was in school so to me that seems more of a "popular girl" name. like jessica, brandy, etc...ya know? i really like scarlett.

I like both your choices, but then my name is C. :) May I suggest that spelling as it is the more common one as it comes from French. Clare is a masculine version. I'm glad you're not going with the same first initial, which can be confusing. I personally like the Scarlett option with Faith and Caroline. You have chosen pretty names which are not going to be competing with half the class in school having the same one.
Congratulations! Daughters are a blessing.

I would go with Allison. It is old fashioned and traditional, like your other 2. Scarlett, while traditional, is also currently trendy. That alone would make me not want it (but that is just me. I grew up with one of the most popular names in history!).

I love the name Scarlett (as in O'Hara), but I think Allison is a better fit with Faith and Caroline. Clare and Grace are both lovely for middle names.

They are all lovely choices! Scarlett Clare is so elegant - but if she doesn't "look" like a Scarlett, would you consider Clare Scarlett?

O. vote for Allison Claire (do you like that spelling?)
You can call her Allie.
ETA: She just can never marry & change her last name to anything starting with a "C", because then her monogram will be a.c.d.c! lol But that's a longshot.

I like both, Allison sounds beat with your other girls names, since they're classic. I love Scarlett but it's more "fancy". Allison Clare sounds like "alice Sinclair" :) plus i like grace with faith! it's more important how either name sounds with your last name. Have you considered Clara? (as a first name)

I like the flow of Allison Grace. However it really depends on the last name too. Our last name decided our kids names but the middle name had to flow,
Hope Lynn Diamond Lynn comes from her aunt Cheryl Lynn
Tiffany Kay Diamond Kay comes from my sister Janet Kay
David Alan Diamond Alan comes from his Grandpa Victor Alan
Hope this helps
Also watch for initials. Mine went from MAB to MAD

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I didn't name my kids on what fit with the others as each child is their own individual person....
I like the name Scarlett and Allison....I like Scarlett better. I would wait until she was born to look at her beautiful face to see which one she is - an Allison or a Scarlett....
On a side note - please just know this is for a laugh and thought...not to be mean....
The two Grace's I know are total clutzes!! Sorry - but it's true!! Our neighbor's daughter is Grace - love her to death - but she can trip over her own two feet!! So I kinda laugh at the name "Grace" while I realize it's a religious name...people tend to think of someone who is like a ballet dancer.

I love the name Clare, and Grace. I'm not sure what I think of Scarlett. But I don't think of a baby when I hear it!!! But I know she won't be a baby forever. I love the names that you have picked for your other daughters, and if I had to choose, I'd go with Allison Clare.

I shouldn't be helping others pick out girl names, when I haven't even decided on one for my own baby who's probably coming in a few days :) ha ha ha, but I will lend my opinion :) To fit with the other names, I vote for Allison Grace out of the ones you listed. But if you were willing to use Clare for the first name, that would be a very nice fit with others as well. Clare Grace or Clara Grace perhaps if you're open to other suggestions... Good luck and take care your last 11 weeks!

Scarlett goes best with a redhead I think, but both names are cute. Faith and Caroline dont really have a theme so I dont think it matters how you name the 3rd. Caroline and Allison go together, Faith would need a sister named Charity or Hope to match up with hers.
