You mention that you have good referrals for Westfield. Would you mind sharing them? I live in Westfield and have a 21 mo. old. Thanks!
My clients often ask me for school recommendations for preschool. I have good referrals for Carmel and Westfield but am not familiar with great independent preschools ran by a either a church or non-franchise (daycare) facility. My agency places professional nannies, so a franchise daycare (who offers preschool) would not be the option that my parents seek. So recommend your favorite school for great teachers, curriculum and teaching methods. I also could use this same information for Geist and Zionsville from you Moms! Thanks for taking time to help me out!

Hi M.! I am a Fishers resident and take my 2 year old twins to Geist Community Church, just south of Geist Reservoir. We have taken them there since they were 6 months old and have been pretty happy with the care they have received so far. They are a bit lacking in the outdoor play area (plastic play gyms), however, they do use their sanctuary as a gym and the kids seem to have a lot of fun. The price is very affordable, almost half of what a franchise daycare in this area costs. We just looked into it and could not believe how much it would cost us to move them. I might as well not work...
If you would like the director's name and phone #, feel free to send me a message back or google "Kids at Geist" or Geist Community Church.
It's really Carmel, not Fishers, but we love our preschool at St. Peter's UCC. It's not run by the church, they basically just rent space from the church.

I taught the 3's and 4's at East 91st Street. They have a GREAT program and normally have a waiting list (for obvious reasons) Might be worth checking into and maybe get on the waiting list. GREAT PROGRAMS! Their programs go thru kindergarten.
