You could also try going to a Dominick's right now since they are taking donations for the Chicago Greater Food Depository.

I will say a place that another mom has already said. Heased House in Aurora. They are located on River st, near down town. I dont have the phone number but it is easy to find and I believe you can drop off food and anyother items that you have pretty much anytime. Just look up the phone number online and give them a call. They will take all of your items and will deeply appreciate them.God Bless

V., Not sure where you are but if your in aurora then the hesed house food pantry would take them. or the mutual ground shelter for battered women. also the holy angels food pantry. all of these places help women in need.

Berkot's takes donations to give to the local food pantry....I dropped off some unopened cans of formula there a few weeks ago.

Naperville has a place called Loaves and Fishes that accepts these items. You have to call to get drop-off times. Sorry, don't have number. It is located off of Mill Street behind Naperville North High School.

Wheaton has a place called Wayside Cross. Don't know as much about that place--location, etc.

Hope you get it to those in need

We run a foundation called Angel Haven Foundation. Currently we support 170 families in the appalachian mountains. They need everything we can possible send to them just to bring them up to the poverty level. They are terribly poor. We would certainly appreciate your extra supplies. 100% of the proceeds donated to us go towards these families. Anything at all you have we would certainly take.

Also we are tax deductible and are registered with the state. Please advise if you would like to donate your items. We would be more than happy to come and pick them up. Thank you for considering us!

You could definitely donate these items to a local food pantry! they are always looking for these things.

In Naperville, on Fifth Avenue, behind Naperville North there is an organization called Loaves and FIshes, they welcome this sort of stuff.

Yes, Colleen is correct - I am a volunteer at PIC in Aurora, and we help pregnant mothers prepare for the birth of their child, as well as provide material assistance for up to one year. Clothes, diapers, formula (unopened), cribs, strollers, walkers, mattresses, car seats and other necessities that these women desperately need.

I'm not sure where you're located, but I believe that crisis pregnancy centers would take diapers and formula. There is a Pregnancy Information Center in Aurora(www.rupregnant.com) as well as Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, and Wood Dale (www.pregnanthelp.com). I have donated maternity and childrents clothing, and they have always been happy to receive any items for their clients. There is also Wayside Cross (www.waysidecross.org) in Aurora, and the women's shelter there is called Lifespring.

Depending on where you are located, there is an organization called People's Resource Center. They have a food bank in Wheaton and in Westmont, and are always in need of diapers, formula and baby food. It's not a women's shelter, but a food bank for anyone in DuPage County that needs help. (They also do English and computer classes and that kind of stuff.) They are always in need of baby stuff. They also will take clothes or other items. I volunteer at the Westmont location and it's a really great organization. You have a lot of great options, but thought I'd add this one!
