I love Le Creme on Sutter at Fillmore...enjoy!
I've been on the hunt for a good pedi/mani spot in SF. Something reasonable, friendly, and convenient.
Where do you go and how much is it?
I love Le Creme on Sutter at Fillmore...enjoy!
On Fillmore, about 1 1/2 blocks below Union--it is near Real Foods and Lush cosmetics. Because I have a chiro appt nearby during the day, I don't need an appointment so am clueless on the name. Sorry...it's on the same side of the street as Lush. Very reasonable; I pay $29 for both and it's an excellent job.
I go to Sunshine Nails in the Glen Park neighborhood of San Francisco (right at the corner of Monterey and Diamond -- door on Diamond). They are quite close to the 280, which should be convenient coming from Daly City. Their prices are good, they are very nice, and they don't skimp on the massages! Their work is good, though my needs are quite simple -- a straightforward pedi and a manicure w/ my nails cut short and buffed. I've seen them do plenty of more complicated stuff, such as French manis and pedis, nail art, and acrylic. You might want to call and make an appointment as they do get busy at peak hours. The owner's name in Cindy, and most people who get acrylics seem to see her, so if that's what you do, you probably want to make an appointment with her.
I love Tip & Toe Salon on Church (if not the cross street/near Valley). They are very attentive, remember you and are clean.
One night my husband was picking me up and got caught in traffic..Lynn (the owner) and her husband (who had come to pick her up) insisted on waiting with me (inside) until he came..and this was my only having been there once before@
Pinkies Nail Salon in Potrero Hill - it has a really lovely atmosphere and they do a great job. It's not as cheap as some nail bars, but it's definitely worth the extra money.
